Yes, we are still alive. I have been called to repentence on my blog writting so here it is. As you all know already, we bought a house in Kinnear, WY. Just about 18 miles out of Riverton. We are country bumpkins now, and for the most part loving it. It is taking a getting use to, to being out of town again but it is fun to have some land and not worry about "city life" anymore. David loves his new school and Zach just turned 21 weeks. I can't believe he is that old already!!!!!!! I was reading Mindy and Eric's blogs and realized that I better put up some pictures of Zach since she already did. . .. I told her she should have put more then I wouldn't have had to but here are some.

We had family here this last weekend for Alex's Graduation! Yaa!!!!!! We are SO proud of him! Mindy came to play with me on Wednesday and we did a bunch of girl bonding and shopping and then Eric came down on Friday and Sherry and Lyle on Sat. Saturday we had a big BBQ with family and Alex's friends. It was so much fun. Mindy, Eric, Jeff and I got Alex a .22 for his present. I think he liked it! :)

Well, I know it has been a very long time since I have been on, but last week we finally found out what kind of baby we were cooking. Heavenly Father is one smart man. Jeff and I decided that if this baby was a girl, we would be done. I do not do pregnancy well. I get very sick and end up on drugs blah blah blah. Well, He knew we were planning this, so he sent us a BOY :) Knowing full well we would try at least one more time to get our girl. I have a feeling we will end up with all boys but, so be it. On my side of the family, including step-siblings, I am the only one producing boys so that is kinda fun. Zachary David Mackay is doing wonderfuly and growing actually a few days ahead of his due date. Which is very good since we are going to induce. David isn't so sure yet about a little brother, he was set on a girl, but he is coming around. He has nicknamed him Zachy or "the boy".......lol, he did spend his chore money on a bunny for the baby so that was a big step for him. I have to add this too about my kind-hearted kid. He saved his money and when we went to the store, he decided to spend it on a toy for his sisters (half-sisters from his dad). He made sure they both had two babies and two of everything. He wouldnt' let me get him something either. I bawled like a baby. He is sooo sweet!

Kitty Jail

We had to break our cat Champ out of Kitty Jail yesterday.........50 dollars later! But, I was really worried when he didn't come home Sunday night. He is my little buddy, following me everywhere I go. Even the million of bathroom runs in the middle of the night, he comes with. So, yesterday I looked EVERYWHERE for him! On a whim, after picking David up from school we stopped at the pound. The minute we walked into the cat room he started crying for us! David so devastated to see him in jail and cried until we got him out, my sweet hearted boy. He has such a tender heart. If I am watching one of my SVU's or crime shows and it is sad he cries with me. I love him so much! Anyway, Champ is now home and much happier! As am I, to have my little shadow back!

Catching up again

Well, one baby later and lots of drugs seem to be helping me get by everyday. I am on a cocktail of meds so that I dont' have to get any IV's! WHICH SUCK! I just can't seem to not throw up, although I wish I was losing weight.......I know....I dont' know how that works! LOL I am enjoying my time at home, kinda. Jeff keeps telling me to just stay home, but I am not so sure yet. With David in school, I feel I need to be helping, and once the baby is here then I will stay home for a while, but.......right now, we will have to see what happens. There aren't any jobs to be found anyway! :) Jeff is staying busy though, with over 8000 miles these last two weeks. So we are VERY grateful for that! We have started on the baby room, it is almost painted and we are getting furniture this next month! Jeff was able to go to an ultrasound, and he loved it. He never got to see Nick's and it made the whole "baby growing in there" more real for him. He just KNOWS it is a girl.....I hope so, but like David says...my smart little six year old, "We will take both mom" :)

Catching up

Well, I haven't been on here forever so let me catch up. As of Friday, January 16th I am out of a job. Our terminal, where I did dispatching and accounts payable and such, is closing the 15th of Feb and so all of us office girls were done the 16th. Kinda a shock, was NOT expecting it, but luckily...so far.....Riverton is keeping Jeff busy, which we are very thankful for! I am taking some days as I have STILL been sicker than a dog. This is all new to me, I wasn't sick with David.....I keep saying that in hopes I will STOP being sick with this baby, but no such luck!! We had a bleeding scare, which was nothing really and they took a "baby pic" as David calls it. We aren't sure yet on one or two. My uterus is HUGE, and since the dr was only checking to make sure it was all ok, he just wasn't sure. Only one baby shows up but with the uterus so big, we are taking another at my first appt on the 29th. Ya know, I don't get this dr. He waits until the women are almost done with their first trimester to see them. I do NOT like that, but he is the only one seeing patients. Davids dr isn't doing OB anymore, even though I BEGGED him to take me again! :)

I said earlier that I don't get sick, well I should have not said that, cuz with this pregnancy.......I am sicker than a dog. I wish I would just throw up, but I don't----I just want to desperately. Jeff is being SO good with everything too. And David takes care of me and is always tucking me into my bed. I am thankful for my boys. They are very good to me. David told me he asked Santa for a baby so that way our baby would stop throwing up in my tummy making me sick and he could get out of there. It was very cute. We are very excited for Santa to come in two days and to see what he brought everyone! Merry Christmas everyone!

I don't know what to think, lol. My dr. called this morning and yep, my hCG numbers looked good. In fact, they over-tripled in 24 hours......so, he said to be aware that many times that means multiples. Lol, I cried, but the Lord knows what he is doing, and I am praying for just one healthy ONE! :) He said he just wanted me to be prepared JUST IN CASE, so I am preparing JUST IN CASE!!!!!!!!

For those of you not sure what to think of our baby countdown, I finally got the blood results back from the doctor today. The count was 695! I am getting more blood drawn tomorrow to make sure the count is doubling, but he is sure everything is ok.
We are very very excited. For those of you who didn't know, in early November we had a positive which didn't stick, so it was both sad and frustrating but this time we are good to go!
The due date, as of right now, is August 17th and we are very excited! Jeff is both worried and excited since he didn't even meet Nic till he was crawling because he was stationed in Japan, so this will be a new adventure for him too. I don't get sick, and so far so good. Just eat, eat , eating! We hope for a healthy baby, of course, but would love a girl. Jeff wants a boy, but I know secretly he would be over the moon with a little girl! David is so excited, which is a relief. With him turning 6 next month, it was a big, long decision as to have a baby at all. But, he is excited and loves to help me eat! :)

We had an awesome Thanksgiving this year! Charity and Jake came down and spent the week with us. We LOVED it. We wish they would move down here! Jeff fried his first (two) turkeys and oh my goodness! they were SO SO SO GOOD!!!!!! They were so moist and yummmy! We are sold, no more oven turkey's for us!

David loves Jeff-anything and everything Jeff does, David has to do. He no longer wants to wear pajamas cuz Jeff only wears his boxers, so now that is all he wears. I found them like this the other night when I came upstairs from working out. Jeff is an amazing dad~I am really blessed.

I forgot to post Halloween! Shame on me! David went trick or treating with his best friend Kadin. It was the first year of his "whole entire life" that it wasn't cold or snowy! Karol and I actually were able to walk the streets with the boys. They made a haul! The good thing is, since we always have had a candy basket in the house, David isn't a big candy gorger! The bad thing is, I STILL love the candy! I wish he would eat it! :)

One of the many million reasons I love Jeff is his love of critters, just like I do. After all the nightly cuddle times and locking the house and all that, when I finally came into bed, almost an hour after Jeff, this is what I found. Him cudding up with Sammi. He pretends he doens't like her, but she LOVES him and the feeling is mutual, I know it! :) The picture is really dark, but I didn't want to wake him up since he had to drive at one in the morning.

Ok, we had an eventful pet weekend. I decided I needed to de-stress on the pet situation. So, we found a lady that would love to have the birds AND the hamster "Peanut". Well, Jeff, Cori and I ran some errands and when we got back Peanut was in the massive jaws of Sammi, the toothless cat. I have NO idea how he got out of this cage or if Sammi got him out, but we had to put Peanut down. David wasn't that upset about it, but we will see how he is this week when it finally sinks in. Other than that, our house is pretty quiet without the birds, but the mess is MUCH better!

Although he tells me he isn't a baby anymore! Corianna is staying with us this year and it is SO much fun having another girl around! She is in First grade and loving it! Ok, if Mindy can do this, so can I. Well, here we are. September 25, 2008 and still kicking. David and Cori are loving school and actually getting up to go! This morning Cori had to wake ME up! I am SO not a morning person. Jeff is going on 21 days of on the road and we are missing him very much! We love our simple day to day routine and wouldn't change it for the world. Between soccer, cheer, day camps, school, work, and Sunshine Generation.......we are spent! :) Well, we are pretty boring but will keep everyone updated on our boring life! :)
